Students’ Rights | Obligations

Postgraduate students have the same rights and benefits as students of the first-cycle programs, except for the right to free textbooks. Additionally, they may use the existing infrastructure of the University of West Attica, which includes classrooms fully equipped with modern teaching aids and computers, the Library, and the facilities of the Department of Public and Community Health.

 

Postgraduate students with no other healthcare and hospital care, are entitled to full medical and hospital treatment in the National Health System with coverage of the relevant costs by the National Health Service Provision Organization, in accordance with the application of article 33 of Law No. 4368/2016 (A’ 83).

Postgraduate students are required to renew their registration at the beginning of each semester, within the deadlines set by the Coordinating Committee.

More specifically, postgraduate students have the following obligations:

  • attend consistently the courses of the current curriculum
  • submit the required assignments within the specified deadlines
  • attend the scheduled examinations
  • incorporate a signed declaration, stating that their dissertation is a result of their own work and that they fully understand and respect the University policy on plagiarism
  • pay the required tuition fees, as specified in the Internal Regulations of the MSc
  • respect and comply with the Regulations for Postgraduate Studies, the decisions of the Bodies of the MSc, the Department and the University of West Attica, as well as the academic ethics

  • Να καταβάλλουν τα προβλεπόμενα τέλη φοίτησης, όπως ορίζεται στον Εσωτερικό Κανονισμό του Π.Μ.Σ.
  • Να σέβονται και να τηρούν τον Κανονισμό Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών, τις αποφάσεις των οργάνων του Π.Μ.Σ., του Τμήματος και του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής, καθώς και την ακαδημαϊκή δεοντολογία
