Knowledge of the principles and methods of Epidemiology is crucial for scientists working in either the private or public sector of Prevention and Health Promotion.
After successfully completing the MSc, students will be able to participate in interdisciplinary and cross-sectional teams and contribute substantially in:
- the assessment of the community’s health status
- the evidence-based definition of intervention and action priorities
- the application of continuous renewal in scientific updates in the field of Epidemiology, Public Health and Health Promotion
- developing a rational and methodologically consistent design, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness and efficacy of comprehensive health prevention and health promotion programs
